Collies are best suited to loving families with a decent sized yard but can adapt to apartment life. Collies are easy to housebreak.

Collies have been known to travel as much as 2000 miles after getting lost to be reunited with their people. A Rough Collie is the mascot of Texas A & M University. Pal was the name of the first Collie to play the part of Lassie.
