     My partner and I lost our pup in December. In March, we were ready to adopt. We had a hard time finding the match for us this go round, and waiting for him right pup to appear was hard. Then came Diesel, we picked him up from his previous owner and have had him for ten days. We are happy to report it's a win-win-win. He is the perfect pup for us. What we are most grateful for being his person was totally honest in painting a picture of who this pup is, that makes all the difference in finding a right match. Thank you Rescue Me for providing this matchmaking service. It was nice to explore and have so many choices that led us to Diesel! Keep on, one day and one dog at a time, till every pup has good furever home

     This precious boy was neglected and left alone for weeks at a time prior to the call I received to get him. Of course, I was hoping to place him in a home quickly since I was near a nice city with beautiful parks, dog parks, single family homes and a 'pro' dog atmosphere. That didn't happen. Duke was with me for about seven months without any major interest. After he was posted on Rescue Me he did have some interest. With the help of this website and a lot of prayer for the perfect home for him, Duke has gone to what I think is the perfect home! A single lady with one son left at home came to meet him. Duke knew she was his person and she knew Duke was her dog. She has the greatest living situation giving him tons of exercise and love. He can swim in a creek off leash with other dogs and walk long walks with his new mom. Duke went to his new home yesterday. I am rejoicing for the love and joy this sweet dog will now have. Thank you so much, Rescue Me!

     When my situation changed and I needed to place my Smooth Collie, I was heartbroken. I tried posting him the usual ways, but ended up with potential owners that were not a good fit at all! My local Collie rescue recommended Rescue Me. I placed him two days later with a wonderful lady who I felt comfortable with and now have the peace of mind that he is in the best possible situation! Thanks so much, Rescue Me! Peace of mind is priceless.

     I have owned several Collies over the past 20 years, and have fallen in love with the breed since my very first pup crossed my doorstep. I lost my last girl about three years ago. I was finally able to think about getting another one and signed up for email notifications from your site over a year ago. Last week, I got an email notification about Sheba. I just knew she was the one to fill my 'Collie void'. Chris, the owner, responded to my email through your site within 30 minutes. We spoke for quite some time. She was heartbroken to give Sheba up, but because of circumstances, she knew it was the right thing to do in Sheba's best interest. I have only had her for a day, but she has fit in perfectly, as I knew she would. She is laying by my feet as I write this. I can't tell you how much I appreciate Rescue Me bringing Sheba into my life! Thank you, Jeff!

When she came with the dog to do our home inspection, she went out of her way to make Collette feel comfortable here and with us. Collette is a sweet dog and is as described on Rescue Me.      Delilah was a very loving dog. I rescued her when the neighbors moved off and just left her at their old house which is across from me for about a year or a little more. I finally went and got her and brought her into our home and loved on her and she loved me back. Recently, both me and my husband have some health issues that have taken up lots of time and we were not able to give her the attention deserves. I posted her on here and got many, many calls. I wanted someone who would come and look at her so I could see her reaction to them. Finally, after several weeks an elderly lady called and wanted to some see her along with her granddaughter. They drove several miles to just come look. I did not want just anybody to take her, and then I worry. They came in the house and sat down and we talked awhile. The woman's granddaughter was living with her, her husband had passed away. The moment Delilah came around into the dinning room, she went straight to the granddaughter and stood upon her, tail wagging. Delilah allowed the girl to just love all over her, and she loved her back ALL OVER!!! I knew then I found the match! Thanks to Rescue Me my worries were over, I knew Delilah was going to a good home, where there was plenty of love for her, plenty for her to give!

     I don't recall how I initially found Rescue Me's Collie Rescue site, but I am so thankful that I did! I had just lost my 10-year old collie to a severe case of pancreatitis and knew I needed to find another collie to fill the void in my heart. I was on my computer one morning and received an email that a rescue collie was available in Ohio. I immediately contacted Rescue Me! and found out that the puppy was already adopted, but that she had a sister and brother. We adopted the little sister, we named her Jovi. I can't even explain the joy and love she has brought us! I have owned collies before and extremely love the breed. Jovi has added to my adoration. I couldn't have found a better dog to heal the hurt I was feeling. Jovi acts more like a small lap dog than a 50+ pound dog, she completely lays or sits on you, and she is very outspoken when she welcomes everyone home. When she wants to play which is often, she uses her long nose to let you know! She is my shadow, literally, she follows me everywhere and I love it! Thank you, Jeff Gold, and Rescue Me! Because of your website, you connected a family and a dog that both needed each other!

     Hello and thank you for the wonderful site you have made. When I posted for maverick I thought I'd have to wait a week or so. I was dumbfounded when the very next morning a couple upstate had emailed me that they would be happy to take him. I was so happy that neither me nor my friend were the least bit bothered by the need for us to drive 6-7 hours into the mountains to drop him off with his new home. 2 tanks of gas, 18 hours total, and several rest stops and the farm he now calls home was well worth the trip and then some.

     Sassy lost her home when her family moved. She ended up in a high volume kill shelter. My vet does their euthanizations and realized this was a nice dog so he called our rescue, CAMP MERRY SUNSHINE and I picked her up. She was here for only a few days when her new family saw her on Rescue Me.org and called. They drove over 4 hours to pick her up. Thank you RescueMe.Org for helping Sassy find her new forever home!

     I really needed to find Heather (the collie) a loving home and couldn't find any rescue's collie or otherwise that would or could take her. After putting her information and story on 'Rescue Me' I received a few calls and emails over the next couple months from people interested in adopting Heather, finally a very nice lady who lives nearby called about Heather and was very interested in meeting Heather with her daughters to see if they would get along. After meeting Heather they she decided to take her home for a trial run to see how everyone would get along and after only a day or two they decided to keep her. Heather is now a very happy girl and her family is so glad to have her with them. Thank you Rescue Me for your help on finding this sweet girl the home she deserves!

     I found a fantastic home for my beloved pet. I posted on a Wednesday and got a phone call the next morning, and this in Montana! The retired couple who adopted my pet are caring, responsible dog lovers and I know that my pet will be cared for like I would care for him. When I decided to find my dog a new home I was very concerned about not being able to find a home that was worthy of him and I did not want to take him to a shelter where anything could happen to him. I am so glad I posted on RescueMe.org. I have a peace in my heart that my dog will be taken care of. Thank you for this website and all the work put into it!
