    SARAH was described as a smooth coat collie by the shelter where we rescued her from. She is about 6 months of age and is dog-friendly.     Champ is a beautiful young, calm but bouncy/fun and very smart Collie blend. He is quickly learning to sit and shake hands. He is approximately 9 months old and weighs about 30 lbs and is kennel trained. He walks well on a leash, loves going on runs, playing, and eats well. He doesn't even mind a bath. He is curious about cats, but has not been reactive. Champ is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccines and heart worm preventatives.     Sophie is a tan and white collie/lab mix female, approximately 1 %BD years old and weighing 35 lbs. Sophie was rescued with her mother, Sadie, who is also available for adoption. Sophie is a shy girl who takes awhile to warm up to new people, but likes to run and play with other dogs, and is used to being able to spend time outside and enjoy nature.     Collie Dogs can make good pets in Oregon if they match your IifestyIe. Collies, or Rough Collies, are loyal, devoted, and protective dogs. Most Collies are excellent companions for children. Collies are natural herders and may nip at people's heels when they are puppies. Collies respond well to gentle obedience training. Collies are best suited to loving families with a decent sized yard but can adapt to apartment life. Collies are easy to housebreak.
