Lacey is about 2-3 years old, weight 60lbs, she has had her 3n1 shot and been spayed, wormed, she gets along with other dogs but she will hold her ground, she is very affectionate with people, she does jump and she can jump pretty high and occasionally she will nip(not bite) she has never been around cats, they are house broken. she needs room to run and someone to spend time with her. Lacey just showed up at a neighbors house and was enjoying freedom, although she stayed close to home..but as she got older, would venture farther into a neighbors yard, who called the dog warden on her. She is now tethered and in need of her freedom again. The neighbor did get her spayed and UTD on shots, etc. If you could provide Lacey with a teather-free life please call Mary 614-859-7543 or email firstname.lastname@example.org Lacey is located in the McArthur area 45651 if you would like to mapquest her. She showed up with another dog Cagney a shepherd mix...so check out her listing too, just in case you would like to help 2 great dogs! (Less)

|Animal ID: 0405Ralston (male)|
Hi there. My name is Ralston. I'm about 5 years old and I weigh about 60 lbs. I was found as a stray in East Liverpool. I was found running on a very busy main road and I took up residency at a place to stay out of traffic. There were lots of other animals there and I seemed to do just fine with all of them. I even did good with the cats and kittens that were there on the porch and what not. I was even okay with her little dog who would growl and tr to bit me sometimes. I'm a shy, submissive fellow. Sometimes people really scare me even if they don't mean to. If you move too fast, I flinch and sometimes I even hit the ground. I do really love people and I just want love and attention. I especially love getting belly rubs!! I'm a clean boy in my kennel. I don't have accidents either so that's a good sign that I might be housebroken. If you're looking for a sweet dog to add to your family, please consider adopting me! I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER OCTOBER 31, 2014. HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS. MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO. THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS. (Less)

Meet Copper, a 6 year old chow/collie mix. He is such a sweet boy just wanting to be around his person but he loves the company of his foster canines! He is an easy going pup and would love a home of his own. He is gentle and loves people, not minding who handles him. He went to the vet and groomer yesterday and just let them do their thing. He was dirty and matted and now is soft and clean. If you are interested in this boy, contact his foster mom, Nicki, at email@example.com or Maggie's Mission. Thanks!

Collie Dogs can make good pets in Ohio if they match your IifestyIe. Collies, or Rough Collies, are loyal, devoted, and protective dogs. Most Collies are excellent companions for children. Collies are natural herders and may nip at people's heels when they are puppies. Collies respond well to gentle obedience training. Collies are best suited to loving families with a decent sized yard but can adapt to apartment life. Collies are easy to housebreak.
