Collie Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Creole, a yearling male Collie/ greyhound (our best guess) mix- heart worm negative and mightily underweight @ 33pounds. Creole spent 4 months at the animal shelter, invisible in plain sight, and was skinny as a broomstick and thrumming like a tuning fork the day he entered his foster home. At first, nervous was his default setting and he was shell-shocked but he is coming out of his shell and is visibly more relaxed with each new sun that rises. His medium length coat, the color of sea froth on wet sand, is soft as a whisper. In his foster home he mixes well with the resident canines and will be a great running companion for his foster mom (insider hint- put your $$ on the dog!) whom he shadows closely as though tied to her shoelaces. The poster boy for optimism in the face of adversity- Creole. To arrange a meet and greet, or for more information on this beautiful boy please text his foster mom at 225-205-9330 All dogs adopted through Friends of the Animals are current on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
