My name is Achilles, I am a Collie mix. I am currently in need of a new forever home. I am neutered and play well with other dogs. I am also very great with kids. I love laying around the house and just licking on my parents. I am a medium sized dog, and shouldn't grow any bigger. I am house trained and crate trained and love to go on walks. I eat dry dog food and love lots of water. I love going to the beach and just having fun. I come with collar, leash, toys, food and water dishes as well as a bag of food. If you feel like you are ready to be my forever home please contact my current owner Thorne at 904-365-9225.

Rescue Me ID: 17-02-24-00053Bella (female)

Collie Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Abused/Neglected

My mom rescued Bella from her neighbor about 8 weeks ago because he was hitting her. He previously asked my mom if she wanted a dog and my mom had declined, but when she saw the man hitting Bella she told him that she would take Bella. Bella is a really sweet dog and is not mean. Bella is a large dog and my mom was wondering if she would be able to handle Bella. So we have been fostering Bella. Bella is a beautiful dog and is growing every day. Bella is 8 months old and weighs about 43 lbs. Bella has never been crate trained and we are not able to work with her because we both work full time. She just needs a family that can work with her ... (Read More)on this. Update...we are leaving Bella to sleep in her bed at night and she is a good girl!! No accidents! She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and needs to be in a home that has room for a large dog. Update Bella has started to protect her home more and my son's friend came over yesterday and Bella was growling and my husband wasn't sure how she would be so he led her to her crate and sat with her. She seems to be gaining more confidence everyday and leaps in the air with joy when she is with us.Bella also likes to mouth us a lot so we give her her big Kong bone and tell her no bite Bella bite this! At first she was really shy about treats but now Bella loves treats! She also loves to chew on her extreme Kong toys. She loves peanut butter in her Kong bone. She will leap in the air with joy. We have noticed that when she has been laying down that her back legs are a little stiff where she will limp and then it works itself out. We don't know how she was kept before and that she may not have gotten any exercise at all. She loves to lay in the back yard in the sunshine. My daughter has been taking her to the dog park in Debary and she is learning to play. She is intimidated by the large dogs but loves to play with the puppies. We feed her twice a day and she is a great eater now. A home where she may not have to be crated would be awesome!! She loves her own yard because she has not tried to dig out.Bella would be an awesome farm dog. Would make a great hunting dog too with some training. She just needs a home with space to play and run! She is also a great watch dog! (Less)
