Samantha - Amazing Lab/Collie Mix Seeks New Home in Arvada CO Hi, My name is Samantha! Apply to Adopt Us Here! There is a $75 rehoming fee. All supplies will be included. Hi, My name is Samantha! I am a Brown Female Collie/ Lab Mix Dog. I am 6 and weigh About 55 Lbs. I live in Arvada, Colorado. Me and my bonded sister Izabell (who is equally adorable!), are dearly hoping to find a loving family to offer us a place in their hearts and home. We are a very loving, devoted pair of female dogs. We are both very healthy, spayed and will come complete with all of our belongings. We are ... (Read More)'ready to own' dogs! I am 6 years old and Izabell is 3. Our owner is very sad to have to make the difficult decision to place us in a new home. Unfortunately her work schedule has made it impossible for her to give us the time and attention we need and deserve. We spend too much time on our own, and she realizes that this is not a good situation for us. We would be much better off with a family who have lots of time to spend with us. If you have been thinking about adding a dog to your family, please think about taking both of us. We can keep each other company when you are away, and offer twice as much adoration and devotion. (I waggle and Izabell wiggles!) Our perfect home will be with a couple or a family with older children. We have never been around cats or other dogs, so it's best that we be the only pets in the home. We can't wait to meet you! Love, Samantha and Izabell There is a $75 rehoming fee. All supplies will be included.     Carter Great Pyrenees / Collie mix Male 9 years old 70 lbs. Hi there! I heard you were looking for a new roommate. Well, feel free to call off the search because I have everything you could ever want in a companion-and then some. Looking for someone who won't 'borrow' your shoes for a chew toy? Done-I am respectful of all belongings, both in and outside the house. Need a roomie who respects a clean space? Check-I learned a long time ago that marking is only to be done outside. Interested in finding a good listener, someone with whom you can share your hopes and fears, worries and joys, or just office gossip? Double check-well, actually ... (Read More)only a single check because I only have one ear. But let me tell you, you will not find a more sympathetic ear in the whole wide world! So what am I looking for in a roommate? First, I would love someone to share in a good meal. If you hold up a treat, I even know how to stand up to reach it in order to save you the trouble of bending over. I aim to please! Second, since I love being around my people, someone who is comfortable sharing their room is ideal. Now, not to worry, I will not ask that you make room in your bed for all 70 snuggly pounds of me; a soft dog bed at the foot of your human bed is perfect. Oh, you didn't realize that I was a dog? Silly me for not mentioning that! Yes, I am a dog of the Great Pyrenees mix variety, which means that I will never argue with you over rent, steal your toothpaste, or leave the toilet seat up. In addition to getting along with humans of all ages, I am a great friend to other cats, dogs, birds, squirrels, fish, and all other sorts of creatures. Now, I should note that, while I would love to be your hiking buddy for great Colorado adventures, I have a little hitch in my giddy-up. I have dysplasia in my elbows, but my good friends at PawsCo made sure to get me diagnosed by a vet, and I just need to take some meds to help with my 'bows! My foster Mom calls me her 'Zen dog' as she says just looking at my sweet face takes away all her stress. She is my 'hero human' for giving me such love and helping me find YOU, my 'forever family.' To start our forever story today, just email my pals at PawsCo at, or fill out an adoption application on their website. (Less)

Collie Dogs can make good pets in Colorado if they match your IifestyIe. Collies, or Rough Collies, are loyal, devoted, and protective dogs. Most Collies are excellent companions for children. Collies are natural herders and may nip at people's heels when they are puppies. Collies respond well to gentle obedience training. Collies are best suited to loving families with a decent sized yard but can adapt to apartment life. Collies are easy to housebreak.
