Collie Mix    Age: Young Adult

Hello from San Antonio, TX! My name is Sonya and I am a Corgi and Collie blend who was saved from the city shelter by CARE rescue. My time was just about up and being a black dog, I just felt invisible as person after person passed me by even though I am beyond loyal, mannerly, housebroken and affectionate! It was like no one could see me except for the folks at CARE! They got me out of the shelter and into an awesome foster home too! I am pretty good with cats and fine with other dogs. I could fit in with any awesome home! I am 2 years old and weigh approx 35lbs.

Carter Great Pyrenees / Collie mix Male 9 years old 70 lbs. Hi there! I heard you were looking for a new roommate. Well, feel free to call off the search because I have everything you could ever want in a companion-and then some. Looking for someone who won't 'borrow' your shoes for a chew toy? Done-I am respectful of all belongings, both in and outside the house. Need a roomie who respects a clean space? Check-I learned a long time ago that marking is only to be done outside. Interested in finding a good listener, someone with whom you can share your hopes and fears, worries and joys, or just office gossip? Double check-well, actually ... (Read More)only a single check because I only have one ear. But let me tell you, you will not find a more sympathetic ear in the whole wide world! So what am I looking for in a roommate? First, I would love someone to share in a good meal. If you hold up a treat, I even know how to stand up to reach it in order to save you the trouble of bending over. I aim to please! Second, since I love being around my people, someone who is comfortable sharing their room is ideal. Now, not to worry, I will not ask that you make room in your bed for all 70 snuggly pounds of me; a soft dog bed at the foot of your human bed is perfect. Oh, you didn't realize that I was a dog? Silly me for not mentioning that! Yes, I am a dog of the Great Pyrenees mix variety, which means that I will never argue with you over rent, steal your toothpaste, or leave the toilet seat up. In addition to getting along with humans of all ages, I am a great friend to other cats, dogs, birds, squirrels, fish, and all other sorts of creatures. Now, I should note that, while I would love to be your hiking buddy for great Colorado adventures, I have a little hitch in my giddy-up. I have dysplasia in my elbows, but my good friends at PawsCo made sure to get me diagnosed by a vet, and I just need to take some meds to help with my 'bows! My foster Mom calls me her 'Zen dog' as she says just looking at my sweet face takes away all her stress. She is my 'hero human' for giving me such love and helping me find YOU, my 'forever family.' To start our forever story today, just email my pals at PawsCo at, or fill out an adoption application on their website. (Less)
